This air conditioned apartment is located within the town of Nerja in a quiet area which is ideal for families. Overlooking the Playa El Salon beach and close to the famous "Balcon de Europa" it has  fantastic sea and mountain views. It has a large garden overlooking the sea  and a communal pool. A truly lovely location close to restaurants.

with English TV. Fully fitted kitchen with full oven, microwave, toaster, washing machine etc.
Nice Terrace with fantastic sea views to relax with your glass of wine. The apartment is located on the second floor. It has air conditioning in the lounge and bedrooms which is controlled by a meter. Cost is around 20 euros per week

Location Information

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing... However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach. However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.

Las Palmeras is a great location and the flat was very well appointed and comfortable. The communal areas and gardens and pool were immaculately kept. A perfect holiday home."

This apartment is in a very good location with easy access to all parts of the town with in walking distance, it is in a quiet street, the views from the peaceful garden are stunning and a nice place to relax. The apartment had plenty of space for the four of us,was very clean with all that you need for a self catering holiday. The only problem may be parking is a bit tight but we where able to park within a four to five minute walk.
The week we stayed was spoilt by the fact the pool was not open for three days due to maintenance but that should not be a problem for those of you who follow, and the second problem we had was waking up at 08:00 due to builders gutting the flat two floors below, it brought to mind the James Bond line about your drink "shaken not stirred" but again the noise will be finished by now. More to the point we love Nerja and would stay at this apartment again. I should point out I am disabled with walking problems I was able to manage the few stairs to get in to apartment block before you got to lifts, and stairs to get to garden and pool but would advise you to check this out if you have a problem with stairs.
