Substantially refurbished over the past four years, with two new bathrooms, re-fitted kitchen, new non-slip stair tiles and re-tiled terrace and pool. Sleeps 8: It sleeps up to eight people, with three bedrooms (one double with king-size bed and two twin), plus a double or two single sofa beds in the living room. Fitted wardrobes in the master bedroom and the larger of the twin bedrooms. Free standing wardrobe in the third bedroom. There is a safe in the main bedroom, plus bedside tables, lamps, ceiling fans and hairdryers in all bedrooms. Bathroom with bath, vanity unit with handbasin, bidet, shower cubicle and W.C. Downstairs, opposite the third bedroom, is a shower room with handbasin and W.C. Wall heaters in both bathrooms. Solar panels provide plenty of hot water, with immersion heater back-up for the odd cloudy day.
Fitted Kitchen: New full-size oven, four-plate ceremic hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, full height fridge/freezer, waist high fridge, plus all the usual electrical extras. Living Room: Comfortable seating for seven (including a new sofa, not shown in the photos), two coffee tables, plus a built-in wall unit. Full satellite TV (except movies) in English, DVD, radio/CD, books, magazines, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, etc. The dining table seats six, with additional seating for four at the breakfast bar. Attractive rugs on tiled floors throughout, with various extras including iron, ironing board, drying frame and portable cooling fans. Convector heaters in all rooms for the 'winter'.
Pool and Terraces: All year-round 24 sq.m. private pool, with Roman steps at the shallow end, where it is half a metre deep, sloping to around 1.9m. maximum. The split-level terrace has a table with umbrella and eight chairs, six sunloungers, plus a built-in barbecue. Non-slip pool surround tiles. There is also the option to use the 'Alamar' Urbanisation community pool nearby.

Location Information
Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing... However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach. However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.
