Property Reviews

Exceeded all of our highest expectations!”
We rented this villa for a wedding in April, having the ceremony and reception at the villa, and also staying for a week as a holiday. We were a group of extended family and close friends. We kept the location secret from everybody until arrival at Malaga airport so that nobody had any pre-conceptions of what to expect. Although we had made the booking and seen the photos we were just as much blown away as the other guests. The villa has immense 'wow' factor and is faultless for such a family gathering. The rooms were beautiful, the furnishings practical and stylish, and the facilities second to none, from central swimming pool, to sauna and tennis court. Being able to step out of the bedroom each morning and dive directly into the pool was such a treat. The on site caretaker was helpful, and there was a very nice touch from the owners of a bottle of bubbly and flowers for the bride and groom.
The villa is well situated from Nerja, just a five minute drive away. Frigiliana is also very beautiful and nearby. There is also a decent hotel just a short stroll down the road which is good value, and handy for those guests that couldn't stay at the villa.
We had the perfect wedding / holiday and cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Perfect location for big parties like our wedding"
We organised a wedding there for 70 people and things could not have gone better. Jeannie and Richard at the site are very helpful and the place it self fits amazing amount of people (we could have been closer to 100, no problem). The tennis court was in exellent condition, as was mostly everything else too (exept the kitchen cupboards, they were old and worn down. But Richard told me they will renew them next winter). HAVE NOW BEEN RENEWED AS BRAND NEW KITCHEN INSTALLED!

Location Information

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing. However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach. However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.
